This full day course is focused on best practices for managing successful green building projects. The course covers, among other topics, key sustainable construction principles including "Integrated Design" and obtaining optimal performance results from project partners.

Trainer: Eric Johnson
 
Mr. Johnson specializes in the planning, cost management, and delivery of green commercial development projects.  Eric joined Gardiner & Theobald’s Prague office in 2007 where he is an integral member of the team providing Gardiner & Theobald’s comprehensive global sustainability services.  These services include environmental certification, regulatory and commercial intelligence, risk management, due diligence and sustainable property assessments.  As a consultant, he has managed the green building certification process for over 1,000,000 m2 of projects and certified some of the earliest and highest scoring buildings in Central and Eastern Europe.
He is a LEED Accredited Professional with the BD+C, O+M, and ID+C credentials, as well as a BREEAM Accredited Professional and Living Building Challenge Ambassador.  He helped to found the Czech Green Building Council (CZGBC) and is currently serving as Secretary on the CZGBC Board of Directors.  He serves on, or leads, several international expert committees working to increase green building education and rating tool ease of use.  He also co-authored the recent CZGBC report “Green Building Costs, Savings, and Value”.  Eric earned a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Construction and Development from Sheffield-Hallam & Nottingham Trent Universities.
