About speakers:


Kay Killmann - Head of Europe, GBCI Europe.  Kay Killmann leads GBCI Europe, the premier sustainability certification and credentialing organization in the region. Mr. Killmann has two decades of international experience as a consulting architect and nonprofit leader, and is the co-founder of the German Green Building Association GGBA. He advocates for sustainable benchmarking and performance monitoring using programs like LEED and technology platforms like Arc.

 

Dimitris Pergamalis - Head of Construction and Development, Globalworth. With more than 20 years of experience in project and construction management in Romania and abroad, Dimitris Pergamalis is the Head of the Construction and Development at Globalworth since 2011. In this role, he has managed the development of landmark projects in the company’s portfolio, such as Globalworth Tower, BOC office building, City Offices, Gara Herastrau (standing assets) and Globalworth Campus, Renault Bucharest Connected and Globalworth Square (currently under development). Prior to Globalworth, Dimitris has worked in both contractors and engineering consultants and was involved in the construction of several major scale projects both in Greece and Romania, including the Citibank headquarters (Romania and Greece), Bancpost offices (Romania), Athens Ring road (“Attiki Odos”) and the Commercial Park at the Athens International Airport. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering Project Management from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) and a Civil Engineering diploma from National Technical University of Athens. Dimitris is a frequent speaker in conferences and events organized in Romania related to Construction, Real Estate Development and Green Accreditation.


Andrei Ivan is an experienced professional in commercial development and sustainability who joined Skanska Romania team in 2015, as a Project Leader. With over 14 years within the industry, Andrei held different positions related to managing sustainable commercial projects. Starting March 2021, Andrei was promoted as Projects Director, leading the project management activities for Equilibrium and future Skanska projects in Romania. Andrei’s expertise in project management and knowledge in sustainability will enhance the value already created in our developments.
During the last 2 years, he successfully contributed to driving sustainability in our business unit and contributed even more towards Skanska’s mission to build for a better society. He truly believes that our industry role is crucial for the development of green cities and a sustainable future. Either he supported the development of the Skanska Group sustainability strategy, contributed to the review of health and safety standards, or he promoted innovations and digital solutions, Andrei has an increased focus on sustainable solutions, bringing added value to our projects and our customers.
The latest years in Skanska gave him a global perspective, being involved in diverse projects with positive impact for communities.


Daniele Guglielmino B.Arch., M.Arch., Ph.D. LEED AP O+M, BD+C, LEED Faculty, WELL AP, WELL Faculty. Registered architect, graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2007 at the Polytechnic University of Turin, with a Ph.D. in Technological Innovation for the Built Environment.
Founding member of the Italian chapter of IBPSA (International Building Performance Simulation Association) in 2010.
Senior Sustainability Specialist at GBCI (Green Business Certification Inc.) Europe, focusing on Cities and Communities, to support public and private stakeholders in implementing virtuous transformations based on LEED.
Committed to public outreach about sustainability, health and wellness, he is author of about fifty scientific and technical publications.


Leonidas Anastasopoulos is a founding member and Managing Partner of Alesonor, a real estate development company specializing in residential projects that bring together high-end design, comfort, luxury, and nature, taking an active part in promoting green real estate projects in Romania.
Alesonor has been the pioneer company that developed the first green, energy-efficient residential complex in Romania, Amber Gardens.
Currently, Alesonor is starting the development of a major project in northern Bucharest - the first green and complete suburb area in Romania, an investment estimated at approx. 110 million euros. The project will feature 500 green villas and 200 green apartments, which will benefit from a complete, high-quality infrastructure and the proximity of a dedicated area for the family - school, kindergarten and after-school, 5.3 hectares parks and green areas, playgrounds, sports fields, supermarket, and fresh market, polyclinic, pharmacy, co-working spaces with conference rooms, dedicated areas for recreation,  spa, restaurants and shopping, as well as direct access to the Baneasa Forest, the largest forest around Bucharest.
In his position, he is coordinating Alesonor’s financial planning, the design and project management teams, and he is participating in the company's strategic planning.
